We were able to create a website that was as functional as it was artistic, fully showcasing Phishaman’s personality and extensive portfolio. The website has been instrumental in creating unique brand experiences as Phishaman has hosted a virtual NFT exhibition, sells merch, and presents his creative expressions and projects in an immersive personal brand universe.

Creativity often sparks inspiration, and for this project, we used Phishaman’s art, specifically his use of monochromatic images, mixed media, and framing techniques that make his subjects appear larger than life. These elements gave us the canvas for this website design.

Visual Design

The site was presented in black, grey, and white, with the only pops of colour found in the art displayed on the site.

To add depth to the visual design, we incorporated a number of motifs and symbols as web elements. We also created skeuomorphic stack cards to differentiate his different projects.

Furthermore, we used his unique symbols as buttons and bold, sharp-edged fonts on the website header to facilitate easy navigation.

Lastly, we used striking images on the headers to give the website a larger-than-life feel.
